From pavements that force cars to slow down without driver intervention, to sensors that indicate obstacles and platforms that predict the possibility of accidents, there are several ways to take advantage of digital tools.

In Setúbal, the high accident rate led the GNR command and the University of Évora (UÉ) to create MOPREVIS - Modeling and Prediction of Road Accidents in the District of Setúbal, a computer platform that indicates the points with "higher probability" of accidents roads, helping the authorities to make decisions.
